Terms of Service

Introduction

These terms govern your use of Claudaborative Cloud — the hosted AI editing service for WordPress available at claudaborative.cloud (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree, don't use the Service. You can still self-host the open-source claudaborative-editing package under its own license, which is independent of these terms.

The Service

Claudaborative Cloud connects your WordPress site to an AI editing backend. You trigger commands (proofread, review, edit, translate, compose, pre-publish check) from the Gutenberg editor; we run the agent loop and apply changes back to your site in real time.

Availability is best-effort. We don't offer an SLA on the public paid plan and may take the Service offline for maintenance without notice.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address. You're responsible for everything done under your account.
• Keep your session cookie and API keys confidential. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per person or organisation. Don't create duplicate accounts to circumvent limits or suspensions.

Acceptable Use

Don't use the Service to:

• Generate, publish, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or intended to harass or harm others.
• Train another model on outputs from the Service, or otherwise use outputs to build a competing AI editing product.
• Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the Service; reverse engineer it beyond what is permitted by law; or interfere with its operation.
• Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or billing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page and are inclusive of any applicable taxes only where stated.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel from the Stripe Billing Portal (reachable from your account page).
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel mid-cycle, the Service remains active until the end of the paid period.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply on your next renewal.

Fair Usage

Cloud subscriptions are subject to fair usage limits. The Service enforces a monthly ceiling on AI processing to keep pricing predictable. If your usage consistently approaches or exceeds the ceiling, we may contact you to discuss an appropriate plan.

We don't publish a fixed per-command quota — the ceiling is calculated against the underlying AI costs. Typical editorial workflows stay well below it. Get in touch at [email protected] if you need higher throughput.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the WordPress content you process through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to provide the Service — including sending it to the upstream AI provider and storing short-lived conversation history for multi-turn commands.

Processing details are described in the Privacy Policy. We don't use Your Content to train models.

AI Output

AI-generated edits, suggestions, and notes are produced by a third-party model. Output may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your purpose. Always review output before publishing. You are responsible for the final content on your site.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including Anthropic (AI), Stripe (billing), and Resend (email). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms. We're not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. Delete your sites from the dashboard and email [email protected] to request full account deletion.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; the privacy policy governs what happens to stored data.

Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI output will meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claudaborative Cloud and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred Australian dollars (A$100), whichever is greater.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
